For cheese, a fresh goat cheese is ideal, while a cherry clafoutis will enhance the end of the meal.

The elegance and freshness of a great Bandol rosé wine
The estate
Founded in 2002 in the Southeast of France, Maison Hecht & Bannier is behind the Villa Madeleine range. Now led by its two founders, Gregory Hecht and François Bannier, this wine merchant company stands out for its rigorous approach and long-term partnerships with local winegrowers. A pioneer in its region, the estate has been certified organic since 2007 and was awarded the prestigious B Corp label in 2022, recognizing its deep commitment to responsible and environmentally friendly viticulture.
The vineyard
Located at the heart of the Bandol appellation, the vineyard benefits from an exceptional Mediterranean climate, bathed in abundant sunshine. The vines thrive on predominantly limestone soils, naturally refreshed and purified by the mistral winds. This privileged terroir, cultivated according to organic farming principles, allows the grapes to reach optimal ripeness while retaining remarkable freshness.
Winemaking and aging
To preserve the full aromatic freshness of Villa Madeleine Rosé 2024, the harvest is carried out at night, between three and nine in the morning. In the cellar, the grapes undergo gentle direct pressing. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks under strictly controlled temperatures. Grenache and Syrah are vinified together to harmonize their profiles. The final blend is completed in January, followed by bottling in April.
Grape varieties
This wine is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle.
