Expérimental Angels Foursquare Small Batch #8: an exceptional limited edition

This Calvados is the eighth edition in Christian Drouin’s Expérimental range, a series that pushes the traditional boundaries of the appellation. Expérimental Angels Foursquare Small Batch #8 is based on a Calvados aged for 17 years, then refined for 17 months in 8 French oak casks that previously held Foursquare rum from Barbados. This maturation was enhanced by a further 3 months in freshly re-toasted casks, intensifying the aromas and giving this exceptional spirit an additional dimension. Bottled in June 2023, this release comprises 2,396 numbered bottles, underscoring its exclusive character. The collaboration with Foursquare, an iconic family distillery in Barbados renowned for its rums with rich aromatic expression, lends a distinctive identity in which Norman traditions and Caribbean influences meet in perfect harmony.
