Appearance
A natural hue ranging from pale yellow to light gold, an authentic reflection of its cask ageing, guaranteed with no added colouring.

Nose
Lively, bright and effervescent. It opens on fresh aromas of green apples, lemon zest and broom flowers, accompanied by a mouth-watering note reminiscent of fruit candies. Aeration reveals the distillery's DNA with a mineral, chalky dimension, a hint of sea salt, as well as a subtle wave of dry peat smoke enrobed in vanilla and light caramel.

Palate
The attack is vibrant and supported by an oily, almost waxy texture, typical of the House. The palate, rich and dense, reveals a masterful balance between the power of the alcohol, a saline tension and a soft peat smoke. Flavours of toasted cereals, yellow fruits, toffee and chocolate then unfold, enhanced by vegetal and spicy notes. The finish is long, warming and maritime, lingering on sea salt, honey, redcurrants and a delicate chalk dust.

Crafted from lightly peated barley traditionally malted on the distillery's own floors, the distillate undergoes the House's unique 2.5-times distillation process. Its five-year ageing takes place mainly in bourbon casks, although some batches may include a proportion of sherry casks or refill casks. This maturation, cradled by the salt-laden winds and humidity of Scotland's west coast, sculpts a profile that is both powerful and remarkably fresh.

Presented as a limited edition highly sought after by connoisseurs, this single malt Scotch whisky is bottled according to the historic British tradition at 57.1% vol., the equivalent of the famous "100 Proof". In the purest respect of the estate's artisanal philosophy, it is offered non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
