The style and balance of a Tuscan wine
The estate
The story began in 1984, when a couple of wine enthusiasts bought a property originally intended as a home close to nature, which soon became a wine estate. Tua Rita was born. Over the years, as Tua Rita's wines gained recognition, the estate grew from two hectares to nine, then to twenty, and today covers some thirty hectares. Tua Rita is now an essential benchmark for wines from Tuscany, a major wine region in Italy.
The vineyard
The Tua Rita estate covers nearly 30 hectares in the Upper Maremma (IGT) wine-growing area, in the Val di Cornia, ideally located between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Metallifere Hills of Tuscany.
The wine
Tua Rita's Perlato del Bosco 2020 is a Tuscan wine that has been produced since 1992. This IGT Toscana cuvée comes from vineyards on clay soils, with stones on the highest plots and silt on the lower ones.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand into 15 kg crates. The wine is aged 50% in 20 hl wooden vats and 50% in 40 hl truncated-cone wooden vats.

This Perlato del Bosco 2020 from Tua Rita is 100% Sangiovese.
Serving
For optimal enjoyment, serve between 16 and 18°C.
