Always one of the richer, rounder wines in the range, the 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros offers up notes of honeyed peaches, pear and wet stones, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's broad but saline.

It has a pronounced stony aroma, with a mineral dimension conveyed through vibrant texture and strong grip, giving an almost grainy feel as if to remind us of its substratum’s imprint. It refreshes the palate with a lemony, ripe finish.

Floral freshness and vibrant energy define this wine, where bright orchard and citrus fruits mingle with wildflowers and a firm limestone minerality. The finish slowly reveals delicate traces of salt. Compact and expressive, this wine has plenty to reveal and should cellar well through 2032.
