    Description

The vivacity and refinement of an Italian white wine

    The estate

Prunotto is located on an estate rich in viticultural, cultural, historical, and traditional heritage. The wines vinified by this Italian estate possess the typical aromas of the grapes grown in these hills. The various vineyards of the estate extend into the best agricultural areas of Piedmont. The Antinori - Prunotto estate uses all the necessary modern technology to produce high-quality Piedmont wines.

    The vineyard

The 50 hectares of this Piedmont property are located in Alba, equidistant from Barbaresco and Barolo. Antinori - Prunotto is established on a beautiful smooth and colorful plain in the Langhe and Roero region.

    The wine

The Arneis cuvée comes from vineyards located within the Langhe appellation.

    The vintage

A warm and dry start precedes a period of heavy rain from mid-May. After a return to normal temperatures in July, the summer is punctuated by storms. Despite low yields, the grapes are of high quality.

    Vinification and aging

Manual harvesting is followed by gentle pressing. Clarification of the must by cold decantation. Fermentation for about 15 days. Aging for several months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.

    Blend

    Arneis (100%).
