    The Estate

Created in 2004 following the split of the family estate Michel Colin-Deleger, the Domaine Bruno Colin has developed its operations over approximately 9 hectares in Burgundy. Bruno Colin, a winemaker trained at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, cultivates numerous climats between Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. He favors a pure and fresh winemaking approach, departing from the family's traditional style to faithfully express the diversity of Burgundian terroirs.

    The Vineyard

This Chassagne-Montrachet comes from a 1.71-hectare vineyard spread across nine lieux-dits: Puits Merdreaux, La Canotte, Les Beuttes, Voillenots, En Journoblot, Poirier du Clos, La Platière, Les Chênes and Les Benoites. The vines, planted between 1955 and 2016, thrive on clay-limestone soils and benefit from sustainable viticulture with mechanical soil work and plowing.

    Winemaking and Aging

Harvesting is done by hand with sorting in the vineyard. Aging takes place over 10 months in oak barrels, 20 to 25% of which are new oak, preserving the purity of the fruit while providing a delicate structure.
