    Description

A precise, elegant, and fresh Rosé Champagne from Billecart-Salmon

    The estate

Since 1818, the Billecart-Salmon Champagne House, founded by Elisabeth Salmon and Nicolas-François Billecart, has distinguished itself through its family management and independence. Preserving its unique know-how through seven generations, this Champagne house embodies commitment to quality and authenticity.

    The vineyard

Nestled between the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, the House oversees a 100-hectare vineyard. This exceptional Champagne terroir, recognized for its richness and diversity, offers an incomparable tasting experience.

    The wine

The Billecart-Salmon Le Rosé is a symbol of precision, elegance, and freshness. Representing the excellence of the House since its creation, this rosé champagne is the result of a meticulous blend of chardonnay, pinot meunier, and pinot noir.

    Vinification and aging

The vinification of the Billecart-Salmon Le Rosé champagne is a careful process that respects tradition while integrating modern techniques. Malolactic fermentation in vats and the addition of 40% reserve wines contribute to the complexity and depth of this champagne. Maturation on lees for 36 months enriches its texture and aromatic bouquet, while the Extra Brut dosage preserves the natural freshness and balance of this Brut champagne. This meticulous process reflects Billecart-Salmon's commitment to excellence and quality.

    Blend

45% chardonnay from the various crus of the Marne, 35% pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, and 20% meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the South Slopes of Epernay.
