Description
The structure and richness of a vintage champagne
The estate
Founded in 1838 in Aÿ by two Prussians, including William Deutz, the Champagne Deutz House has deep roots. One of the founders was a wine merchant, while the other sold champagne. They handled every stage, from bottling to dosage, even before owning their own vineyards and champagne. In the 20th century, their descendants gradually acquired plots in the finest Champagne terroirs. Today, the Deutz House belongs to the renowned Roederer family. Deutz champagnes stand out for their harmonious style, blending virtuosity and refinement.
The vineyard
The Amour de Deutz cuvée comes from prestigious Champagne terroirs: Avize, Oger, Mesnil, Vertus, and Villers-Marmery/Trépail.
The wine
Amour de Deutz is a pure expression of Chardonnay, crafted only in the greatest vintages, making this champagne truly exceptional.
Blend
This 2014 vintage champagne is made exclusively from Chardonnay (100%).
