    Wine Spectator

    Alison Napjus

A rich Champagne, with a lush, almost viscous creaminess, nicely reined in by vivid, mouthwatering acidity—a finely knit frame for flavors of white peach purée, passion fruit, toasted brioche, and accents of elderflower, fleur de sel, and candied grapefruit peel. Long, lingering finish. Drink now through 2035. 5,000 cases made, 250 cases imported.

    Decanter

A beautifully airy, silky style, not strict for the cool 2013 vintage, but calmly assembled with yellow apple, apricot and whitecurrant flavours subtly bolstered by fresh croissant dough and bitter almond. There’s a lick of grapefruit bitters and a suggestion of 2013’s riper, more succulent side, with some yellow mango sweetness. Delicate and appealing, with plenty of scope to add interest in the cellar. 100% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs grand cru villages, all in stainless steel with eight years on lees.

    James Suckling

Elegant and refreshing nose, with a chalky layer to the lemony citrus and fine, creamy pastry aromas. Fresh delivery of creamy mousse, followed by a nice grip of fruit and autolysis. Long and subtle, with a bright, almost zesty finish. Drink now or hold.

Light minerality in this Champagne gives it structure and tension. At the same time, it has softness alongside the fine, elegant fruitiness. Despite its 10 years in age, the wine is still fresh, just hinting at maturity. Drink now.
