Gosset : Celebris Vintage Extra Brut 2002

The cuvée Celebris Vintage 2002 Extra Brut from Gosset is a blend of 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir. The vintage 2002 is an exceptional year characterized by very healthy grapes with good acidity. Chardonnay then expressed minerality, aromas of exotic flowers and fruit while Pinot Noir assumes its complexity through notes of red and black fruit with spicy notes and brioche. The cuvée Celebris Vintage 2002 Extra Brut from Gosset has a beautiful and clear gold robe. The nose reveals subtle notes of hawthorn and violet, identified by fruity apricot and Granny Smith which evolve into roasted flavors. The palate is smooth and full. The elegant palate reminiscent floral nose and full with a nice freshness. This Champagne is remembered as a pleasant feeling of purity and a lovely fruity without extravagance.
