    The estate

Founded in 1808, the Champagne Henriot House has established itself as a reference in the world of Champagne. Located in the heart of the region, it has successfully combined tradition and modernity, shaping a unique history over generations, in which each era has enriched an exceptional heritage.

    The vineyard

The Henriot House plots are spread across the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. On these emblematic terroirs of Champagne, the alchemy between climate, soils, and know-how brings top-quality grapes to life, true pillars of the identity of each cuvée.

    The wine

Carried by eight generations, the House preserves a rare heritage of preciously guarded bottles, testaments to its know-how. Since the first vintage of 1921, the "Mémoires" collection has been enriched, each bottle resting in the silence and cool of the cellars, a symbol of a constant standard of quality and elegance.
After several decades of rest in the cellar, Alice Tétienne, Cellar Master, selects a specific vintage to illustrate a new stage in the history of Henriot. Each bottle is first tasted individually and then disgorged manually according to traditional know-how. After a few more months of rest, the Champagne fully unfolds, allowing the full richness of its journey to be appreciated.

    The vintage

The year 1970 was exceptional, with a mild and warm climate that favored beautiful ripening. The harvest, which began on September 27th, offered generous yields and grapes with promising aromas for great wines.

    Blend

Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.
