    Falstaff

    Falstaff

Bright salmon pink with orange reflections. Delicate pink cookie on the nose, orange confit and red dried apples. A beautiful interplay of soft mousse, distinctive tart grapefruit and refreshing acidity on the palate. Mineral-tinged, full-bodied, extremely long finish with hints of yeast.

    La RVF

A lovely copper hue. The nose feels more tired, built around macerated fruit and autumnal notes that lend it a certain stylistic evolution. On the palate, this is a vinous rosé with a fairly creamy, cushioned mouthfeel. It’s broad, but not very long in flavor.

    Description

A fresh and fruity Rosé Champagne

    The estate

Located in the heart of Aÿ, one of the 17 Champagne villages classified as Grand Cru, the Champagne Lallier House has been writing its story since it was founded by René Lallier in 1906. In a constant pursuit of excellence, René-James Lallier, grandson of the founder, turned a new page in the house’s history by carrying out major modernization work on the winemaking facilities starting in 1996. In 2004, Francis Tribaut, a passionate Champagne native who also advises other renowned Champagne houses, acquired Maison Lallier.

    The vineyard

Lallier's cuvées are renowned for their finesse and for authentically expressing the richness of the finest Champagne terroirs.

    Winemaking and aging

Lallier’s Grand Rosé Brut Grand Cru is made from 80% wine of the year and 20% reserve wines. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay undergo a warm maceration, allowing for optimal and exclusive extraction of color, not tannins. This cuvée is vinified using the house’s own yeasts. Partial malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for a minimum of 3 years in cellars. Disgorgement takes place about 4 months before release. The dosage is 8 g/liter with a liqueur prepared in oak barrels.

    Blend

This Brut Grand Cru cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir (65%) and Chardonnay (35%).
