The estate
Château Beauséjour has been recognized since the very first Saint-Émilion classification. This Premier Grand Cru Classé from the famous appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux has been a family estate since 1847, owned by the Duffau-Lagarrosse family.
The vineyard
This 7-hectare gem is planted on the Saint-Émilion hillside. The 40-year-old vines are planted on a mosaic of terroirs composed of clay-limestone soils over astéries limestone. The vineyard is managed using traditional methods and is most often tended by hand.
Harvest
Manual harvest of merlot grapes in successive passes between September 24 and October 4. Harvest of cabernet grapes on October 4 and 7.
Blend
Merlot (86%), Cabernet Franc (14%).
