Château Corbin : Key Points

Château Corbin bears witness to a rich winegrowing heritage; since its foundation it has been part of the story of working the vine. Although the château was built in the 18th century, legend has it that the estate's land belonged to the famous Black Prince who fought the French at the dawn of the Hundred Years' War. Today, the property has been in the same family for almost a hundred years. The ancestral passion for winemaking is passed on from generation to generation. Anabelle Cruse, with her husband Sébastien Bardinet, has boosted the estate with her work and her determination and has given it back its letters of nobility.

Château Corbin stands beyond the vineyards of Pomerol and at the entrance to Saint-Émilion. Here, this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé oversees 12.31 hectares of Merlot (92%) and Cabernet Franc (8%) vines, which are deeply rooted in a soil influenced by clay and sand. The vines are 33 years old on average and are cultivated in the traditional way, with manual harvesting.
