Château Cap de Mourlin : Key Points

Château Cap de Mourlin is one of the oldest estates in the Saint-Émilion appellation. Its origins date back to 1647, when it was acquired by the Capdemourlin family, who gave their name to both the hamlet in which they lived and their wine. This family estate was given a new lease of life in 1983 with major renovation work carried out under the leadership of Jacques Capdemourlin to enhance the quality of the wines produced from this exceptional terroir.

This Grand Cru Classé on Bordeaux’s Right Bank oversees a 14-hectare vineyard on the northern slopes of Saint-Émilion, benefiting from a clay-limestone and clay-silica terroir. The vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot, supplemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Château Cap de Mourlin is renowned for its wines, which combine a generous structure with a rich aromatic bouquet.
