The estate
Château Closiot is owned by the iconic Mâconnais winemakers Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens. It was out of a passion for Sauternes wines that they acquired this Barsac property in 2017. There, they produce critically acclaimed sweet and dry wines of great quality.
The vineyard
Located in Barsac, the vineyard of Château Closiot benefits from morning fog and sunny harvests. These conditions are conducive to the development of botrytis, which gives concentrated but light wines.
Winemaking and ageing
Following the harvest, the grapes are sorted several times and pressed vertically. Fermentation and vinification in barrels (60% new). 130 g of residual sugar.

Bonneau 2022 from Château Closiot is a 100% Semillon from the Clos Bonneau plot surrounding Château Closiot.
