White peaches, flowers, green apples, and spice form the core of the perfume. On the palate, the wine is elegant, sweet, juicy, mineral-driven, with a touch of chalk that shows up in the refreshing finish. This will be great in your glass on release. The wine is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2030.

Light green-yellow, silver reflections. Fine wood spice, ripe yellow tropical fruit, hints of guava and pineapple, fresh gooseberries, lime zest in the background. Juicy, elegant, full-bodied texture, fine fruitiness, pleasant acidity, shows good length and minerality, certain ageing potential.

A little sharp on the opening, leaning into Sauvignon Blanc character, great quality, very much on the powerful citrus, slate, crushed stones, crushed herbs, roses. Extends and expands through the palate, impressive.

The bouquet’s depth combines freshness, generosity and authenticity. The vintage seems to take a back seat, with the terroir coming to the fore. This is confirmed on the palate, with an opening that is certainly broad, yet also saline. An expressive, compact and persistent wine that will be interesting to follow as it evolves.

    Terre de Vins

The aromatic palette is broad: linden blossom, lemon and a smoky touch. The wine proves appetizing with a lasting saline attack. The impression of richness and the finely textured body contribute to the persistence and charm. Grapefruit peel and a hint of white pepper bring the finish.

Pale yellow, bright colour. An intense yet subtle nose, with ripe fruit aromas unfolding into white flowers, peach and pear as the glass is swirled. Smells wonderful. Full on the attack, subtle through the mid-palate, highly aromatic, with a fine, silky richness that glides across the palate; the wine develops into a juicy, long finish, with a graceful touch. A hint of lemon on the finish. Superb—especially at 12.5% alcohol.

    Decanter

This bright and tangy wine enchants the senses with a cornucopia of flavours, ranging from lemon and ripe peach to camomile and lanolin. Mid-palate richness, smoothly delivered, is balanced by the acidity. Yet another excellent dry white wine from Pessac-Léognan.

    Yohan Castaing

The 2023 Blanc from de Fieuzal is another superb rendition at this address, revealing a complex and attractive bouquet of pear, white peach, spring flowers and confit citrus. Medium- to full-bodied, enveloping and fleshy, it is built around a generous core of fruit framed by racy acidity and a crystalline texture, concluding with a long, perfumed and saline finish.
