    Decanter

Medium gold in colour. Rich yellow-fruit notes, a floral lift, and a dense, spiced palate. Quince, pineapple and ripe apple with a sweet-fruited finish.

Honeysuckle, pears, green apples, white peaches, and citrus notes shine on the nose and palate. The wine is crisp and juicy, delivering its blend of green apples and zesty citrus fruits with ease, finishing with bright lemons and crushed-stone minerality that carries through the backend. This will be a pleasure to drink on release. The wine blends 70% Sauvignon Blanc with 30% Semillon. 12.5% ABV. Drink from 2027–2033. 93–93 pts

Depth paired with intensity, freshness and subtlety: that’s Fieuzal in aromatic terms. Everything is coherent, with a Sauvignon Blanc that is certainly persistent but hardly dominant, a present oak influence that does what it needs to do—showcasing the other elements of the bouquet—and then an open, almost Sauternes-like touch embodied by the Sémillon! On the palate, the wine stays true to this idea of balance, or fusion. It has breadth, a touch of charm, and then an incisive, saline structure in step with an energising austerity. The result is a stratospheric Fieuzal that will delight palates receptive to the authenticity and freshness of a Pessac Léognan!

Medium intensity pale gold colour, beautiful grip and lift on the attack, gentle wash of cloves and gunsmoke, this is super pretty, well placed with lift and pared back white peach and nectarine flesh. A gourmet style of white in the vintage, great quality from estate director Stephen Carrier.

Pale yellow colour. The nose is intense, refined, fruity and smooth. Delicate on the attack, then very flavoursome, with a hint of mandarin and white-fleshed fruit, the wine glides across the palate through to a subtle, lingering finish. Blend: 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon. Alcohol content: 12.5%.
