    Tasting

    Appearance
The wine displays a clear, brilliant hue, enlivened by subtle peach-colored highlights.

    Nose
Both complex and refined, the bouquet opens with fruity aromas combining small red berries and lightly candied citrus.

    Palate
The attack is generous and silky. The palate charms with its intensity and elegant texture, supported by delicate tannins. Indulgent notes of brioche, toasted almond, vanilla, and red berries enrich the whole.

    Food and wine pairings

This outstanding rosé pairs beautifully with scallop tartare, Mediterranean sea urchin, sea bass fillet, a creamy crayfish bisque with chives, or strawberry carpaccio. Elegant pairings for a refined tasting experience.

    Serving temperature

Serve between 9 and 11°C to fully appreciate its freshness and aromatic complexity.

    Cellaring potential

Enjoy through 2030. This cuvée reveals its full charm in its early years while offering excellent aging potential.

An intense, refined, and radiant Provence rosé

    The estate

Located in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation, the Maison Gassier stands out for its deep respect for the terroir and its constant pursuit of quality. Nestled at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, this family estate perpetuates expertise passed down through generations. Thanks to an exceptional microclimate and sustainable viticulture, the estate produces wines that fully express the richness of their origin.

    The terroir

Cuvée 946 takes its name from the altitude (946 meters) of the western peak of the Croix de Provence. It is made from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, emblematic of the Côtes de Provence Cru Sainte-Victoire appellation, and offers a pure expression of Provence’s great terroirs.

    Winemaking & aging

The grapes, harvested at night to preserve freshness, are destemmed and then directly pressed for 2 to 3 hours. After a week of cold settling, the must is clarified. Fermentation takes place partly in concrete tanks and partly in Austrian demi-muids, where the wine is then aged for 6 months with twice-weekly bâtonnage.

    Blend

    Grenache, Syrah, and Rolle.
