    Description

The elegant personality of a Medoc, the signature of Caroline Frey

The Third Classified Growth Chateau La Lagune is one of those big names in the Medoc that shows sure value and constant regularity.

With a style always more assertive, the young oenologist and owner of the chateau, Caroline Frey, succeeds in creating wines that are distinguished by their personality, their character and their freshness. They have the right balance between the roundness of Merlot, and the intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, all of which give the vintage its identity.

The Chateau La Lagune 2011 is a fine example of the best and most authentic of what the Medoc has to offer, and this vintage is a typical year in Bordeaux.

The Chateau La Lagune 2011 has a deep ruby colour. On the nose, the bouquet seduces with its powerful yet elegant aromas that consist of small black fruit. On the palate, it is an elegant wine with structured, fine-grained tannins. There is a great freshness to the finish with slight minty notes.
