Description

A particularly delicious Haut-Médoc red wine

The estate

Presiding over the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Château La Lagune is one of the most splendid estates of the Haut-Médoc appellation.  Caroline Frey has, since 2004, put her talent to work to elevate Château la Lagune to the top.

The vineyard

Château La Lagune is a Haut-Médoc wine that stems from a vineyard of 80 hectares planted on a gravelly hillside. The vines are worked on biological and biodynamic agricultural practices.

The vintage

The harvests began on 22 September (on the young merlot plots) to finish on 13 October, having gathered a yield of gorgeous petit verdot and sumptuous cabernet sauvignon. The winemaking process rapidly showed promise with the aromatic intensity of the musts and the first phenolic analyses.

Blend

Merlot
Cabernet sauvignon
Petit verdot.
