Château Langoa Barton 2022

A balanced Saint-Julien wine with a wonderful aromatic finesse

The estate

Château Langoa Barton is a Third Cru Classé in 1855 in the Saint-Julien appellation on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. The property was acquired in 1821 by the influential trading company Barton & Gustier, already experienced in the production of wine in this area around Château Léoville Barton, acquired by the same family in 1826. Today the Barton family is still at the head of the estate.

The vineyard

Château Langoa Barton 2022 is a Saint-Julien wine from a 20-hectare vineyard. The vines are 35 years old on average and are planted on gravel with clay subsoils.

Winemaking and ageing

Exclusively aged in barrels, of which 60% were new.

Blend

Château Langoa Barton 2022 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (56.5%), Merlot (41%) and Cabernet Franc (2.5%).
