The elegance and precision of a great Côtes de Provence wine
The estate
Recognised as a Cru Classé in 1955, Château Sainte Marguerite saw its modern history begin in 1977 with the arrival of the Fayard family. Located on the Provence coastline, this estate of around 450 hectares is now run by Olivier and Enzo Fayard, who have been partners with the Pernod Ricard group since 2022. Marketed under the Sainte Marguerite en Provence brand, the property stands out for its environmental commitment, offering cuvées that are fully certified organic and vegan, and establishing itself as a benchmark among the great wines of Provence.
The vineyard
Located at the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation, the vineyard benefits from a mosaic of terroirs typical of Provence. The vines flourish on varied soils. The proximity of the Mediterranean Sea provides a unique microclimate, bringing a sea breeze that tempers the summer heat. The entire vineyard is farmed according to the principles of organic agriculture and certified vegan.
Winemaking and ageing
The harvest is carried out with care in order to preserve the freshness of the berries. In the cellar, vinification is conducted with precision to bring out the aromatic expression of the white wine, followed by meticulous ageing.
