Description
A fresh and expressive Lalande de Pomerol wine
The estate
Founded in 1832, Château Siaurac is a jewel of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux. The estate is now under the direction of Terroirs de Suravenir, with Elodie Kaminski as technical manager. The vineyard, certified HVE4, produces wines renowned for their elegance.
The vineyard
Located in the commune of Néac in Lalande de Pomerol, the Château Siaurac vineyard extends over 45.15 hectares divided into 43 distinct plots. The vines, with an average age of 35 years, thrive on a varied terroir composed of gravel, deep clay and clay-sand, giving the wine its characteristic complexity and finesse.
Winemaking and aging
Fermentation in concrete vats with intra-plot selection. Aged for 14 months, with 80% in concrete vats, 17% in barrels and 3% in amphorae.
Blend
The blend of Château Siaurac 2025 comprises 68% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 13% Malbec.
