Description
2014 Saint-Julien, Second vin du Chateau Talbot, Bordeaux.
Legend has it that the name of this Saint-Julien domain is attached to the Connetable Talbot, famous soldier defeated at the Castillon battle in 1453. The 2014 Chateau Connétable Talbot is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot.
This Second vin du Chateau Talbot gives off red berry and spicy fragrances. On the palate, the 2014 vintage is supple, soft and develops a nervous and silky finish. The latter reveals freshly cut flower, sugared red berry and mint notes.
