Domaine du Château de Meursault : Pommard 1er cru "Clos des Epenots" 2018

Great nobility of expression on the nose and palate, perfectly mature without excess, precise tannins, good oak, very clean yet expressive. Highly recommended.

The 2018 Pommard Clos des Epenots 1er Cru has a clean, pure and well-defined bouquet with ebullient red berry fruit and fine minerality (one of the few Côte de Beaunes in this tasting to exhibit that trait). The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, quite saline, with a beautifully proportioned, harmonious finish that lingers on the palate. What a beautiful Pommard. Chapeau.
