Tasting
Appearance
This white wine reveals a beautiful hue oscillating between gold and pale straw.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet opens with notes of white flowers and acacia, underlined by hints of citrus. Indulgent aromas of brioche, toasted bread and a delicate buttery touch enrich the whole, accompanied by nuances of ripe apple, fig, quince and spiced pear.
Palate
Both ample and taut, the palate reveals a beautiful power balanced by lively acidity. A very pronounced saline minerality carries the tasting towards a finish full of energy, where the wine's richness harmonises perfectly with its natural freshness.
Serving and cellaring
Endowed with a fine structure, this Ladoix Village "Les Marnes Blanches" 2024 shows excellent ageing potential and can be enjoyed until around 2034.

The estate
Founded in 1825 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Faiveley stands as a true benchmark in Burgundy. With an exceptional vineyard of 120 hectares spread across the region's finest terroirs, this historic estate has weathered the ages while preserving its family character. Today, the seventh generation, embodied by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, leads the property with a modern and committed vision. Entirely converted to organic farming, the house perpetuates a unique expertise, combining respect for nature and technical precision to reveal the authenticity of each plot.
The vineyard
Located at the foot of the Montagne de Corton, the plot at the origin of this cuvée extends over 3.19 hectares within the Ladoix appellation. Nestled in a combe and benefiting from a north-north-east exposure, the vines enjoy slow ripening, ideal for preserving the freshness of the berries. The soils, composed of marls and low-stone limestones, give this terroir a singular identity, particularly suited to the production of white wines of great mineral tension.
