    The estate

Established in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1825, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Faiveley is one of the most renowned estates in Burgundy. Since 2005, the seventh generation, represented by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, has passionately carried on the family tradition. With a vineyard covering more than 120 hectares, the estate stands out for its size and prestige, owning remarkable plots in Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.

    The vineyard

Originally based in the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Faiveley gradually expanded its vineyard holdings to the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Today, it owns 12 Grands Crus and 25 Premiers Crus in Burgundy, an exceptional heritage. The “Champ Gain” plot, spanning 10 hectares, is located just below “La Garenne,” on the heights of the wine-growing slope. Its name refers to the “land gained from the forest.” Domaine Faiveley has owned it since 2014.

    The wine

This Marsannay wine comes from a 1.83-hectare vineyard, with vines planted between 1958 and 2002 on soils composed of marl, clay, stones, and gravel. This terroir is also notable for its position beneath a forest, benefiting from a cool climate and a late-growing cycle.

    Grape variety

    100% Pinot Noir.
