The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come from vines averaging 50 years of age, located on the renowned Terres Blanches plateaus within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. This exceptional terroir consists mainly of rounded pebbles that store the heat of the day. The vineyard is farmed with the utmost respect for living organisms and a strong commitment to biodiversity, certified by the Ecocert, Biodyvin and Demeter labels.
Winemaking and ageing
To craft "La Part des Anges" 2024, the grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, followed by rigorous sorting on a vibrating table. The bunches are fully destemmed before integral barrel fermentation. The wine is then meticulously aged, with the vast majority resting in new demi-muids, bringing structure and complexity to the whole.
Grape varieties
This blend is composed of 70% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache Noir and 10% Syrah.
