Six great Burgundy wines brought together in a case expressing a single vintage

The estate

In 1910, Joseph Leflaive founded in Puligny-Montrachet the estate that bears his name, with the ambition of creating, under his own label, cuvées that reveal the uniqueness and aromatic potential of the most illustrious Burgundian Climats.

A graduate of the École Polytechnique at 20 and a naval engineer who contributed to the design of the first French submarine, Joseph Leflaive undertook the replanting of the family vineyard — whose grapes had until then been sold to négociants — devastated by phylloxera, while investing in winemaking equipment.

In the early 1990s, Domaine Leflaive opened a new chapter with the third generation of its history. Starting in 1994, Anne-Claude Leflaive, driven by an avant-garde vision in Burgundy, converted the vineyard to biodynamics and spearheaded numerous developments that would forge the estate’s international reputation.

Since 2015, Brice de la Morandière, great-grandson of Joseph Leflaive, has perpetuated this constant pursuit of perfection by crafting great white wines of Burgundy whose rarity rivals their excellence.

The vineyard

Located in Puligny-Montrachet, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Leflaive cultivates over 25 hectares planted exclusively to Chardonnay.

Domaine Leflaive’s winegrowing heritage extends across some of Burgundy’s most emblematic terroirs: Grands Crus, Premiers Crus, the Mâconnais vineyard as well as Village appellations.

The wine

Domaine Leflaive presents a rare and prestigious case: the Bourgogne Discovery Case.

Built around a single vintage, the estate offers a refined oenological exploration through six cuvées, six interpretations of great Burgundian terroirs, between the Côte de Beaune and the Mâconnais.
