The barrel-fermented 2022 Condrieu Deponcins aged for one year in French oak barriques (25% new) and then an additional four months in stainless steel tanks. Fragrant honeysuckle, lemon flesh, ripe pear, white peach and quince notes rise up from the glass. Full-bodied, powerful and evocative, the 2022 is a generous Deponcins that checks out with saline traces on the complex finish. This is outstanding.

The 2022 Condrieu Deponcins is rocking stuff, offering peach, pineapple, and minty honeyed flowers. Medium-bodied, fresh, focused, and elegant on the palate, it has beautiful purity and balance. It is best enjoyed over the coming 5-7 years. Drink 2025-2032.
