A Structured and Expressive Beaune 1er Cru, Signed Louis Latour

    The Estate
Founded in 1797, the Louis Latour estate is one of the oldest family-run houses in Burgundy still independent. It is now recognized as the largest owner of grand crus in Côte d'Or, with iconic plots located notably in Aloxe-Corton. Combining tradition and innovation, the estate perpetuates a unique savoir-faire, especially thanks to its own cooperage, founded in the 18th century, which ensures perfect mastery of aging.

    The Vineyard
The "Perrières" climate is located in the northern part of the Beaune appellation, on a steep, east-facing slope. This terroir benefits from shallow, clay and limestone soils, near old quarries. These conditions offer optimal natural drainage and promote a nice concentration of the berries.

    Vinification and Aging
Vinification is conducted in open vats according to the traditional method, followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which are new, from the estate's cooperage. This aging brings complexity, structure, and finesse to the wine.

    Grape Variety
    100% Pinot Noir.
