Characteristics and Tasting Notes of Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2022 by Louis Latour

    Tasting

    Appearance
The wine displays a deep, intense ruby hue.

    Nose
The bouquet opens with blackcurrant bud aromas, enhanced by subtly toasted notes.

    Palate
The palate is broad and velvety, revealing flavors of cherry, forest floor, and licorice. The tannins are exceptionally fine, and the lingering finish gracefully extends the tasting experience.

    Food and Wine Pairings
Game, ribeye steak, braised lamb, veal with morel mushrooms, or cheeses such as Époisses or Langres make for refined pairings.

    Serving and Cellaring
This wine should be enjoyed at 16–17°C (61–63°F) and can be cellared until around 2042.
