A robust and elegant Burgundian Red wine from the Côte de Nuits

    The Estate

Established in 1797 by Jean Latour in the wine capital of Beaune, the domaine Louis Latour continues its family heritage under the leadership of the eleventh generation. Spread over fifty hectares between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, it holds the largest Grand Cru holdings in the Côte d'Or, notably in Corton and Aloxe-Corton. A pioneer of winemaking innovations since the nineteenth century, Louis Latour combines ancestral know-how with modernity in its historic Beaune cellars, preserving its independence and exceptional heritage.

    The Vineyard

The vines of this Nuits-Saint-Georges flourish on typical clay-limestone soils of this southern commune of the Côte de Nuits. Averaging thirty years old, they benefit from manual harvests and produce a controlled yield of forty hectoliters per hectare, guaranteeing concentration and expression of the terroir.

    Vinification and Aging

Traditional vinification takes place in open vats with full malolactic fermentation. Aging occurs over ten to twelve months in French oak barrels from the Louis Latour cooperage, twenty percent of which are new wood with medium toast, imparting structure and complexity to the wine.

    Grape Variety

This Red wine from Burgundy is made exclusively from pinot noir.
