    Nose
The aromatic bouquet opens with floral notes of linden, harmoniously interwoven with white-fleshed fruit scents, while revealing a beautiful minerality.

    Palate
The palate offers a silky, polished texture, supported by a bold freshness and a subtle saline touch. The whole extends into a persistent and elegant finish.

    Food and wine pairings

Ideal to accompany fine gastronomy, this great white wine pairs wonderfully with noble poultry, fish in sauce, or mushroom-based dishes such as morels or truffles.

    Serving and cellaring

For an optimal tasting experience, it is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of around 12°C. This great white from the Rhône Valley boasts a remarkable ageing potential and can evolve gracefully over several decades.

The expression of a legendary terroir in the Rhône Valley

    The estate

Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, the Paul Jaboulet-Aîné House is a historic institution located in Tain-l'Hermitage. After being run by the founding family for nearly two centuries, the estate was acquired in 2006 by the Frey family. The domaine stands out for its deep commitment to environmentally respectful viticulture and the preservation of its exceptional terroirs.

    The vineyard

Stretching across the famous hill of Hermitage, the vineyard benefits from remarkable geological diversity. The vines flourish on varied soils, ranging from granitic sands to stony terraces composed of limestone and silt, offering ideal conditions for crafting great white wines.

    Winemaking and aging

The berries are harvested by hand into small crates before undergoing rigorous sorting. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts. The ageing is carried out with precision to preserve the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir, encouraging a harmonious evolution of this wine from the Rhône Valley.

    Grape variety

    Marsanne (100%).
