    Palate
The palate seduces with its fine tannins, its enveloping texture as well as its sanguine or even ferric, fruity and white chocolate aromas.

The opulence and finesse of a Southern Australia Red wine

    The property

Named New World Winery of the Year in 2013 by the prestigious magazine Wine Enthusiast, the Penfolds estate had already established itself as a symbol of great Australian wines at the beginning of the 20th century thanks to the unparalleled determination of Mary Penfold. Indeed, the co-founder of Penfolds Winery devoted herself body and soul to producing exceptional wines. This lifelong work is reflected in the estate's success in establishing itself as a reference in Southern Australia. When in the 1950s, Max Schubert joined the Penfolds adventure, he instilled in the estate's wines the elegance of the great Bordeaux wines that fascinated him so much. Success was not long in coming when the cellar master signed his famous Grange cuvée which crossed Australian borders to conquer wine lovers worldwide. Today, the talented Peter Gago worthily carries on the legacy.

    The vineyard

Great Red wine from Southern Australia, the Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 cuvée from Penfolds comes from several regions of South Australia: Coonawarra, Barossa Valley, Padthaway and McLaren Vale.

    Vinification and ageing

After the harvest and the fermentation phase, the wine is aged for 18 months in American oak barrels (100% new).

    Blend

    Cabernet Sauvignon (100%).
