Weinwisser

Slightly opaque dark red. On the still closed nose, blackcurrant to the fore and vanilla. Gentle palate, elegant and rounded, lots of fruit. Medium-length, elegant finish. Currently closed.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Robert M. Parker, Jr.

This seductive, sexy, accessible, forward vintage port boasts a dense purple color as well as copious quantities of jammy red and black fruits intermixed with smoke, earth, and licorice. Additional definition and firmness should emerge with time in the bottle. Sweet, layered, and full-bodied, it will be at its finest between 2007-2020. Importer: Maisons Marques & Domaines, Oakland, CA; tel. (510) 286-2000
