I love the ripe pear, freshly baked croissant and delicate spice aromas that are married to chalky minerality on the well structured palate. Very long, straight and pure finish. A cuvée of wines from the sites Les Chalois, Les Champs de Huit Jours, Les Baraquines and Le Bas des Chalois based on the 2018 vintage. Disgorged on the 8th December and with 7.6 g/l dosage. Delicately perfumed with freshly cut apple, white rose, and a hint of ocean spray, the nose is clean and quietly expressive. The palate shows lovely texture, energized by bright acidity that lifts the fruit with ease. Gentle chalkiness and saline notes linger on the finish, making it effortlessly enjoyable on its own.
