The estate
The Domaine du Cellier aux Moines was founded in 1130 by the Cistercian monks of the La Ferté Abbey. These monks were the first to build the famous Clos of Burgundy. Since 2004, the Pascal family has successfully undertaken to restore the estate and give it back all its vitality, with a conversion to biodynamics now completed.
The vineyard
The Premier Cru les Chaumées 2021 cuvée is a Chassagne-Montrachet wine made from a 22-are plot planted on a climat overlooking the northern part of the vineyard. Planted in 1988, the vines are cultivated at just under 300 metres of altitude on shallow, stony and steep soils, ensuring optimal ripening of the berries.
2021 is the first vintage certified in Organic Agriculture at Domaine du Cellier aux Moines.
