The 2022 Terrasses du Larzac Les Combariolles is full of charm and juiciness, a blend dominated by Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged for 17 months, much of it in demi-muids. With its red fruit, mellow oak, aniseed, fine cigar, laurel, but also blackberry, blueberry, and roasted red pepper, it is classic in style with delicious freshness and velvety, dense tannins. Already superb, it will gain even more complexity in the years to come. Drink 2025-2035.

Peppercorns, berries, chocolate and orange zest on the nose, followed by a juicy, medium- to full-bodied palate with sturdy but ripe tannins. Syrah, mourvedre, carignan and grenache. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
