Témoignage M. Dauge Pléiade Collection Apogée: an exceptional cognac
This outstanding spirit bears the name of the owner of a 10-hectare vineyard located in the commune of Bourg-Charente, within the Cognac appellation.
During a tasting, Dominique Touteau, the House’s Cellar Master, was captivated by the elegance and aromatic finesse of this cuvée. Through this rare and prestigious Collection, Delamain reveals the nuances of illustrious cognacs born of a single year, a single vineyard, and a single cask.
Meticulous craftsmanship
Témoignage M. Dauge Pléiade Collection Apogée is crafted exclusively from grapes carefully selected in Grande Champagne, the most renowned cru of the Cognac region.
Drawn from the final distillation in 1969 of a historic 6-liter still, this cognac benefited from an initial maturation in a 600-liter seasoned cask, followed by aging in a 400-liter cask until its peak. It was then kept in 270-liter casks and finally in 30-liter demijohns.
