Xavier Vignon : Cuvée Anonyme 2022

The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Anonyme Blanc is the flagship white and is a blend of 45% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne, 20% Clairette, and the rest Picpoul. Its medium gold hue is followed by a clean, classic perfume of stone fruits, toasted spice, and honeyed flowers. With medium-bodied richness and good mid-palate depth, it's balanced and has a good sense of freshness, followed by a great finish. It’s geared for the dinner table and is a beautiful white that should evolve for 2-5 years or so.
