Description
The freshness and creaminess of an exceptional Rhône Valley wine signed Xavier Vignon
The estate
A recognized oenologist, Xavier Vignon founded the domain bearing his name in 1999. In just a few years, it has established itself as a major player in the Rhône Valley. Firmly committed to the environment, the estate collaborates notably with the Sea Foundation to promote more responsible viticulture. Xavier Vignon combines scientific rigor and creative spirit, crafting bold cuvées while remaining faithful to the soul of the Rhône terroirs.
The vineyard
This Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise comes from vines planted on two types of soils with complementary qualities: 80% clay-limestone, providing structure and minerality, and 20% sandy soils, which enhance the aromatic delicacy and finesse of the wine. This geological richness gives the cuvée its harmony and complexity.
Vinification and aging
Low-temperature vinification preserves the aromatic brightness and natural freshness of the grape variety. The mutage, carried out with great precision, interrupts the alcoholic fermentation in order to retain some of the residual sugars while ensuring a beautiful acidic tension. The aging, largely conducted in Wine Globe - innovative glass containers - keeps intact the pure and fruity expression of the muscat.
Grape variety
100% small grain muscat, composed of 90% white muscat and 10% black muscat, for a rich aromatic palette and remarkable depth, typical of great natural sweet wines.
