The estate

A true benchmark in the Champagne world, Charles Heidsieck preserves an exceptional heritage, including spectacular chalk cellars dating back two millennia. A pioneer, Charles Heidsieck distinguished itself in the late 1980s by highlighting the remarkable aging potential of its multi-vintage Brut, becoming in 1987 the first house to indicate the “mise en cave” year on its bottles to track the evolution of its champagnes over time.

The vineyard

The Charles Heidsieck estate owns about 60 hectares of vineyards in the Marne and Aube, certified Haute Valeur Environnementale and approved for sustainable viticulture. Following Champagne tradition, the house supplements its production through long-term supply contracts with carefully selected growers and cooperatives throughout Champagne.

The gift set

This Armchair Gift Set brings together two bottles of an exceptional Blanc de Blancs embodying all the expertise of Charles Heidsieck. As early as 1949, under the impetus of Charles-Marcel, the founder’s grandson, the house was one of the pioneers in producing a Blanc de Blancs in Champagne. In 2018, this outstanding cuvée was relaunched to showcase the house’s mastery of blending and the art of great champagne.

Blend

A subtle tribute to Chardonnay, the Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs is composed of 25% reserve wines, harmoniously blended with the vivacity of the year’s wines. Its extended maturation in the cool chalk cellars gives the cuvée its characteristic patina, a true signature of the house.
