    Description

Ice Impérial Rosé by Moët & Chandon: a harmonious Rosé Champagne

    The Property

The Moët & Chandon Champagne House was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, a visionary wine merchant, who quickly made it a reference among European courts. A few years later, his grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, expanded the house's aura internationally.

Jean-Rémy Moët notably created the house's emblematic cuvée, the Moët Imperial, in honor of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who visited the estate several times and allegedly invented the gesture of sabering Moët & Chandon champagne bottles to celebrate a victory with his troops.

Owned by the LVMH group since 1987, the house produces, from a rigorous selection of Champagne terroirs, singular cuvées recognized beyond borders for their quality and seductive personality.

    The Wine

The Ice Imperial Rosé cuvée by Moët & Chandon is the first and only Rosé Champagne specifically created to be served with ice cubes. Its dosage is 38 g/liter. This cuvée is to be discovered in magnum format for even more sharing and festivity!

    Blend

Pinot noir (45 to 55%) combines aromatic intensity with a beautiful structure, pinot meunier (35 to 45%) seduces with its roundness, amplitude and richness, and finally chardonnay (5 to 10%) brings acidity, precision and refreshing notes in the finish.

This blend is complemented by 20 to 30% of reserve wines to refine the intensity, richness and consistency of this Rosé Champagne.

Characteristics and tasting advice for the Ice Imperial Rosé by Moët & Chandon

    Tasting

    Color
Bright, the color is a deep rose, adorned with subtle golden reflections

    Nose
The nose blends aromas of red fruits (cherries, cranberries) and juicy fruits (figs, peaches) with notes of grenadine syrup.

    Palate
On the palate, the wine is pulpy, sweet and firm, and the sugar of the red fruits melts. The Ice Imperial Rosé by Moët & Chandon is harmonious, being both fresh and fruity. The freshness extends on the finish with a touch of bitterness (pink grapefruit).
