    The estate

Established in 1720 by Edme Champy, a cooper in Beaune, Maison Champy represents the oldest Burgundy merchant house. Located in 18th-century Beaune buildings listed as historic monuments, it currently cultivates approximately 21 hectares across renowned appellations of the Côte de Beaune such as Pommard, Beaune, or Corton-Charlemagne. The estate has been under the direction of Dimitri Bazas since 2014 and owned by the AdVini group since 2016.

    The vineyard

The En Caradeux climat is among the seven Premiers Crus of Pernand-Vergelesses, a Burgundy appellation located in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune. This very hilly wine-growing area, planted since the Middle Ages, extends across the hillsides of Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. The diversity of soils and exposures gives each climat a distinct identity. The white Premiers Crus of Pernand-Vergelesses total 17.60 hectares spread across seven climats.
