    Wine Spectator

    James Molesworth

An elegant style, with savory and shiso leaf hints up front, followed quickly by raspberry, damson plum and bitter cherry flavors. A sandalwood and incense edge gives the finish a slightly firm and perfumy feel. Best from 2017 through 2021. 275 cases made.

A subtle and refined red with chocolate and plum. Medium body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now.

Medium-bodied with good fruit density, gentle extraction, elegant wild fruit, violet and spicy notes, long and juicy finish.

    Weinwisser

Dark garnet, fairly dense at the core, with a ruby rim. Shows a beautiful praline-like, almost compote-like sweetness—noticeable but not heavy—with mulberry aromas and fine cassis nuances in the background. Creamy, velvety palate with a refined vigor from the extract; the tannins have subtly powdery contours. The wine has excellent potential to go down in the vintage’s history as one of the most sensual Pomerols.

    René Gabriel

Dark garnet, fairly dense at the core, ruby rim. Displays a beautiful praline-like, almost compote-like sweetness—noticeable but not heavy—with mulberry aromas behind and subtle cassis nuances. Creamy, velvety palate with fine breed from the extract; the tannins show delicately floury contours. The wine has very good potential to go down in the vintage’s history as one of the most sensual Pomerols.

    André Kunz

Closed, austere, deep bouquet with blue and black berries, pralines, tobacco, vanilla. Silky, tightly knit palate with powerful fruit, sweet aromatics, elegant structure with solid muscle, plenty of fine tannins, long, powerful finish with good after-aromas. 18/20 2020 - 2035
