    Description

A fruity and fleshy red wine from Pauillac

    The property

In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, the Château La Fleur Peyrabon is a property of great personality. On the left bank of Bordeaux, this property has been brilliantly managed by Patrick Bernard since 1998, who takes pride in producing elegant and refined wines.

    The vineyard

Located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, the vineyard of Château La Fleur Peyrabon benefits from a very large sandy gravel terroir resting on clay subsoils, which allows the production of typical crus of the Pauillac appellation.

    Blend

Cabernet sauvignon (68%) and merlot (32%).

Characteristics and tasting advice for Château La Fleur Peyrabon 2003

    Tasting

    Nose
This wine presents a subtlety that is found in the aromatic nuances where notes of candied plums, roasting are intertwined, supported by a nice muted oakiness.

    Palate
The palate reveals an elegance that dominates a relatively velvety, fleshy and voluminous ensemble, crowned by suave and almost sweet tannins.
