The estate
Enjoying a superb location in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Larrivet Haut-Brion shines bright, just south of Bordeaux. Owned by the Gervoson family since 1987, the estate has truly earned its reputation. The entire Gervoson family strives with passion and enthusiasm to produce wines of great character and elegance.

The vineyard
From 17 hectares of vines in 1987, Château Larrivet Haut-Brion rose to 75 in just a few years following the acquisition of new plots of vines and new land. The vineyard is located on the Graves de Bordeaux terrace. The soil here is very gravelly, clayey and sandy. These outcroppings benefit from superb sun exposure and ideal water drainage.

The vintage
The 2019 harvest of Château Larrivet Haut-Brion took place between September 19 and October 1. The yields were quite low (35.2 hl / ha), and the quality superb with a beautiful concentration and nice tannic structure.

The blend
Cabernet sauvignon (65%), merlot (20%) et cabernet franc (15%).
